7-Eleven offering free Slurpees on 7-11 – KCPQ

7-Eleven stores will offer their signature treat for free on Wednesday, July 11. The occasion is the chains 85th birthday. Or it may be the date: 7-11.

The free Slurpees will be served from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. They will of course be 7.11 ounces in size.

It is also worth noting that one of the worlds most Slurpee-crazed cities is located in Washington. The Kennewick 7-Eleven led all stores worldwide in Slurpee sales in 2008. Company officials believe that the city still has the highest per-capita rate of Slurpee consumption anywhere.
